Thank
you to everyone who showed up to help get our project off the dime: Westchester Urban Farm is real!
It was inspiring to see all the community members,
students and their families, teachers, administrators, children of all ages who
were at Westchester Enriched Sciences Magnets High School on Earth Day Weekend. They pitched in, got acquainted and put their back into
the work of realizing the plans of the
amazing learning facility we will build.
We will Farm the Future, shed light on a better
tomorrow, develop in our youth a love for the Earth and give them a view forward to a time
of proud self-sufficiency, renewal of heritage cultures through culinary arts,
trusted nutrition, and knowledge of how life is propagated. We will teach them sustainably, for the most decisive
century in human history.
We are made strong when hands join
together to plant the seeds of a vibrant, living, sustenance that is
shared. Own the Future!
